The anti-SIV monoclonal antibody clone ITS103 is a potent neutralizing antibody targeting simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV). This antibody was originally discovered by Mario Roederer's group and has been modified with an LS mutation (M428L/N434S) in the Fc region to enhance its serum half-life and FcRn binding, improving its pharmacokinetics for in vivo applications.
Key Features of ITS103 (LS-modified):
- Target: SIV envelope glycoprotein
- Neutralization: Potently neutralizes SIV, making it valuable for research on viral pathogenesis, immune responses, and potential therapeutic applications in nonhuman primate (NHP) models.
- LS Modification: Enhances antibody persistence in circulation, increasing its effectiveness in long-term studies.
- Research Applications:
- SIV vaccine and immunotherapy studies
- Passive immunization strategies in macaques
- Evaluating viral escape mechanisms and immune responses
This antibody is part of NHPRR’s specialized reagent portfolio, supporting HIV/SIV research in nonhuman primate models.
Note: We produce this antibody on demand; please expect longer lead times.
